The paper reports on the pressure dependence, electrode characteristics and electronic circuitry required to achieve the desired discharge. While actual disturbance measurements were not possible during the workshop, the paper reports on the experimental methodology required to obtain such data. This involves a description of the mean flow field and the selection of hot-wire trajectories required to obtain relative disturbance amplitude data.
